This evening a single guy came in and ate at the bar. Shortly after arriving I guess sleepyhead was tired because he fell into a deep sleep. When the bartender alerted me, I had no choice but to intervene by kicking sleepyhead’s chair as I walked by. I kicked it with a lot of force and his head bobbed a little but he didn’t wake up. We all laughed and I went back to my station to work. Later on when I asked the bartender if sleepyhead ever woke up he laughed and told me that he did indeed.
After he woke up he was given his bill. Sleepyhead started picking his nose and immediately wiped whatever he managed to retrieve directly on his bill. He then pushed it forward to be collected by the bartender. Don’t worry – the bartender fully suited up with gloves before picking it up.
