Waiting In Vegas

Today when a barely 21 year old guy ordered his meal his exact sentence was “I’m going to rock that cheeseburger.”   I couldn’t help but roll my eyes because seriously who the fuck orders something in that manner??? A fucking moron, that’s who.   Sometimes when you are waiting tables the smallest things can really annoy you.   A friend of mine hates when people shorten the word appetizers by saying “Appies.”   You wouldn’t believe how many idiots attempt to shave .009 seconds off the pronunciation of the word appetizers by shortening it this way – mostly women and gay men.   Most straight guys say “starters,” “munchies,” or something else equally tolerable.   Every time I hear the word “appies” I chuckle to myself and think about how pissed off my friend gets.
